Was there not a prayer meeting going on during the formation of the UPCI?

Perhaps they're praying for unity, spiritual guidance, etc.

Why couldn't they have prayed that for the UPC???

well surely its not because they are under attack?
and wouldn't you want them to have spiritual guidance?

Why couldn't they have prayed that for the UPC???

Then they might now have a position with an organization???

They're probably interceding because Wilson is the T. F. Tenney of Tulsa and they're praying the conservatives don't immediately rip him to shreds.

Actually, probably some very loyal and caring saints praying for their pastor. Sorry, I can't read anything more into it.

There sure was united between the PCI & PAJC and within their own groups.

It is possible those 450 people see the Tulsa meeting as a historic pivotal point in the history of Oneness Pentecostalism now that the UPC has "gone charismatic" LOL!!!!!

I'd say they have done a good bit of praying for it over the years.

Ding ding sing...we have a winner.

But that doesn't sound nearly as melodramatic, now does it?

I tend to agree. However I do think most likely they were also movitivated by the thought in their paradigm that this new "organization" is the birth of something big and they wanted it to get off on the right foot.

You are probably right.

That it wasn't 451?Ha! ;) :)

I'd honestly be very happy with 450. :thumbsup To me it's one of the highest compliments a congregation can pay their pastor ...... for that many people to gather together to pray for their pastor says a lot.

For their Pastor and that's the greatest compliment any Man of God can receive. Until some of his critics have 450 praying people that they lead in the ways of God crying out to God for them they need to bite their tongues.

I may not be in Tulsa but I pray God's greatest blessings on them and the United Pentecostal Church.

I TOTALLY agree with you. Tonight I asked God to give the UPC AND the men involved with Tulsa...the MIGHTIEST, HUGEST, most INCREDIBLE year in REVIVAL!!!!

Ditto...

And may I extend those prayer blessings to all of God's Children, regardless of denomination.
