Bro. Well was burning some papers and a can that had been left after the previous person burned garbage exploded on him. He immediately rolled in the wet grass, but even so had to spend the night in the hospital where he received fluids via IV. He now has 2nd degree burns on his arms and face. They were planning to retire very soon (April, I believe). Please pray that his recovery is quick and that the burns are as painless as possible and scar as little as possible. Also pray for Sis Well as she tends to his needs. Pray for strength and patience for her.
The Well's were my pastor when I lived in Pontiac, Michigan in the mid 1970's. They are truly wonderful people!! After leaving Pontiac, they spent many years as missionaries in Chile, S. America.

Thank you all for your prayers. This is what Sis Well writes today.......
"I just want to inform you of his progress. The blisters are bursting now and that should be very painful with the flesh raw. Its hard for me to wash the wounds to dress them; it has to be very tender. He doesnt complain about anything.
Keep him in your prayers, for a quick recovery and the scaring."
Please keep praying. This is a wonderful man of God with great faith. He, more than anyone else, taught me the importance of fervent prayer. Now it's my turn to pray for him. You can help me, if you will. Thanks!
