The drama and intrigue continues. Just saw on the Drudge Report that John Edwards is dropping out of the Democratic race for the nomination.

This happening the same day Rudy Giuliani is expected to drop out of the Republican race.

Nor now its basically Obama, Clinton, McCain or Romney that will be our next president.

Lets see how this continues to play out.

I'm guessing it'll be McCain over Clinton by a close vote at the end.

I'm thinking you are right about McCain and Clinton.

Edwards never stood a chance from the get go.

Boy what a choice we're gonna have this year for president! If Ron Paul doesn't get the nod (which I seriously doubt he does) for the republicans I think I just might stay home on election day(or at least I would like to).

McCain is worse than any Democrat that I know and is just as bad as Guliani. After following whats been going on, I would rather have Romney, but he's only slightly better than the rest.

The problem is that government has no biblical authority to do what he wants it to.

The choices are going to be very weak this year, on both sides.
Take immigration/amnesty for example. McCain is soft on illegal immigration. Clinton is worse. Obama is even worse than her... he is openly in favor of giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens.

Nobody wants to talk tough on immigration for fear of alienating the Latino vote. It's pandering at its worst.

Looks like this election will truly be a case of choosing the "lesser of two evils".

Um... yeah. We'll be watching him, all right. Watching him fade into the sunset.

My pet chihuahua is proving more relevant in this campaign than Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is certainly poplar with university students!...Hey, Arlo Guthrie just endorsed him. Woody would probably be proud. According to those "call-in" polls, I think he "won" every debate. His grass roots support is outstanding.

Read more about him at wikipedia:

I am so happy John Edwards has dropped out. It was getting so annoying hearing him tell the same stories over and over and seeing his silly smile. Thank you, Lord, that he has dropped out!!

I'm sure his hair stylist is pretty upset by this, though. :girlytantrum

Candidate or no candidate, John Edwards will be paying his hair stylist - hundreds of dollars. Did he really assert that there are 200,000 veterans sleeping under bridges or homeless in America? How could he possibly be sure of that number? I'm not minimizing the plight of some veterans, but Edward's insistance on a specific number of veterans sleeping under bridges or being homeless is very questionable. Did John Edwards actually say that or did Bill O'Reilly say that he said it? I thought I heard Edwards make that statement in a debate but I could be wrong.

FUNNY - my brother went to an Edwards rally yesterday... this morning he dropped out! I asked him if there was ANY indication and he said no - sounded like he was going all the way... :toofunny
