Toledo mayor sends the Marines packing

The Marines were scheduled to do a training exercise in downtown Toledo this last weekend. That is, until Toledo's illustrious Mayor Carty Finkbeiner got wind of it. Then he kicked them out of Toledo!

People are livid here in our area. This man is so arrogant. It is not the first incidence of him doing something so incredibly stupid. How he got re-elected I will never know!

And now the City Council is going to apologize to the Marines because Carty refuses to. In fact, he is calling anyone who disagrees with his actions a "baboon".

Also, the city of Berkley Ca voted to move out the Marines recruiting station....my American bretheren, this sickens me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am on a 1 man movement to boycott Berkley, never again will I venture there for a Pete's coffee, chicago style pizza, or jazz concert!!!! Bunch of whackos is what they is!!!

If America should ever be invaded by a foreign power, let us hope that all the pacifist who are against the Maries are in one city...maybe Toledo. Let us then see if the Marines will be gracious enough to defend those of whom are opposed to them.

I will fight to defend America, but I would not be inclined to defend a pacifist who would not fight for me if the occasion were presented to them.

On the other hand, why not just cut off all federal funding to Toledo and all governmental benefits to pacifist in general?

Obviously this mayor must not appreciate the fact that these men protect his very freedom to "run them out"! A sad day indeed.

I bet lil ole' Madisonville KY would let them come in and we'd give 'em FREE sweet tea and deep pit bar be que!

The Marines made that same point to Carty Finkbeiner. He referred to them as baboons because he said they didn't understand where he was coming from on this. Apparently he was upset because somehow he missed the memo that they were coming (even tho it was VERY public knowledge prior to their arrival - days ahead!). He is such a control-freak that because HE wasn't informed personally, he thinks that gives him the right to boot them out. The Marines said to him that if there ever is a terrorist attack here, they hope HE knows how to take care of it. Toledo is a spot that terrorists might be interested in, even as small as it is. We have DavisBessie (the nuclear facility), the Ports for shipping, we are a hub for some trucking, we're right on the mainline for railroad traffic, we have an airport, but more importantly, we are only a short distance from the Detroit Airport.

This guy is such an idiot!!
