I dunno. It wasn't ME. I just got back here.

I don't move ANYTHING till the discussion has died down for 3-5 days with no posts.. THEN I only move them over to archive areas where they can be easily found if someone is looking for them later.

I click on 'new posts', so I see everything, regardless what forum it's in. If we only had one forum, it makes no difference to me.

of course they belonged in other areas. that isnt the point. thread die down and get moved. but threads that are full of actions should stay where the people are...

like thad playing for someone? i would not go to the music thread to look for it. i think of the music thread as being discussions of groups....latest projects released and such.

this is as good a place as any. can we get an Area 51? there is a thread in the Food Forum that is about the gubbermint feeding us poison cows and the Food Pope doesnt think that should be in the Food forum. an Area 51 would be great for all those folk that wear that funny hat coonskinner is so fond of

Anything not replied to in 5 days or more should be fair game to be moved.

Moving something from, say, the Fellowship Hall to the Newsroom seems to be because of the subject matter. But moving a thread just because no one responded to it, well, it seems to me that this would take care of itself by the thread being continually moved further back by more recent threads.
