View Full Version : Best Thing About Being An Admin at AFF
As you old timers know I resisted becoming an admin at FCF, NFCF and now AFF for a long time. Years in fact if you count all three forums that succeeded each other as our home.
I have never wanted anything to hinder my freedom of posting nor did I want to be accused of any bias in any admin action I might take based on my strong positions taken as an outspoken neo- Pentecostal / progressive Pentecostal / Gone Charismatic Pentecostal. LOL!!
However if for no other reason than the following I have found being an admin is worth it all. What is "it" (as a famous President would ask)?
The ability to edit my posts for as long as "ever"! One of my pet peeves has been to post something then go back hours later to discover I had one or more really stupid typos in it but I had waited too long to be able to edit the post to fix it.
(then of course there is that super top secret software that allows me to see all of you in front of your computers and hear everything going on in your home but that is a whole other thread):gaga

I find it very interesting myself... if the forum only knew what happens in these smoke-filled rooms!
The fact that I can edit CC1 posts is totally kewl - I admit!

This time it WASN'T me!!
I've been busy shopping at amazon.com and bookcloseouts.com -- found some great deals... already Christmas shopping for this year. (If I were a betting person, I'd say it was either The Mrs, or Prax this time) :D

Yep. Every mod or admin action is usually logged by forum software--but I'm not gonna take time to figure out who's picking on CC1. My coffee would get cold! :D
