Thousands and thousands of people live like this in Brazil. Dear ones, we are very blessed.

I am beyond thankful. Even in this country, sometimes I will drive past a young mother walking to bus with a bag of groceries and a small child, I always take a moment to thank God for my car, my home, and all of the comforts that I have that are NOT my God given rights.
How any of us can think that we are entitled to what we have, or that God owes us a certain standard of living when He has children living for Him in complete poverty, yet serving Him with a joyful heart, I will never understand.
Mother, I don't believe I am nearly as thankful as I ought to be.
Thank you for stirring our hearts...:friend

Houses must be very expensive there.
Not in interior places but the salary is so little unless they have several that work in the family most will never own a home unless the government helps.
I have RIGHT now a sister sitting in my office begging me to help her she was offered a home for about 700 dollars in your money and then there are very small payments for years to come...but where do I get the 700 dollars?
We have helped some of our people have homes but there are so many...
Oh! if I only had money...

Even without these compelling pictures I have known what its like to be in a very similar position in my past dire lifestyle I am infinitely THANKFUL to my LORD., for His mercies most of all bringing me to His saving knowledge., which is priceless.
Even in this alleged "land of plenty" we see similar situations such as that man sleeping in a doorway, who'd of thought we'd see that in the U S of A?
