I need a good easy worship song for an Easter sunrise service, one that would work well for a multi-denomination crowd. (I don't think "I'll fly away" is going to work)

I have about 100 ideas but am having trouble narrowing it down to anything, can somebody give the girl a hand?

If it is done at sunrise... You might want to do Father Abraham to get them away...

"Back in Black" by AC/DC. Very worshipy and soothing. It's old school but it's classic. Since u r so cool i'm sure you have it on ur ipod. :)

Or maybe you have the choir do Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and have a stepping crew, ala NYC?

PM me if you want anymore ideas. I'm full of it...I mean them. :)

That is a beautiful song, but I am looking more for something easy for a congregation to sing. Probably without music, maybe a keyboard.

Also, just for reference, this will be in a graveyard...

He lives.
He's Alive.
Up from the Grave He arose.
In the garden.

Dizzy,
I know this guy that is a manager for a singing group in my local church. I will give him a call and see what kind of songs he/they may have for ya.

In that case UP FROM THE GRAVE HE AROSE seems most appropriate to me :)

(Plus I love that song! It's not Easter until you've sung that one)

I don't know, if anything started rising up at dawn in a graveyard, I don't think the shockamoo I would be doing would be entirely of God!! :ursofunny
