Not really sure whether to put this as a prayer request or as just a regular thread... so I put it here and if admin chose to move it thats fine by me.

First of all a note at how sick the world has become. Day before yesterday I received a phone call. It was a friend who I used to go to church with years and years ago. Telling me to not go down a certain hwy in our town... that it wouldnt be good and that she needed to tell me some stuff. Come to find out I hear this same thing on TV 5 min later. A girl who I used to be very close with her family when I was a teenager... had gone down I30 in Dallas and thrown her 2 baby boys (they are 6 and 8) over an overpass into oncoming Dallas morning rush hour traffic. She then jumped. At last I talked to some of the family members they said with the pain the boys were in they might wish they had not survived. My friend who drove by saw them falling from the sky and is one of the main witnesses if I understood her correctly.... How sick does one have to be?!?!?!?! And the worst part is they had already been removed from her once by CPS and investigated 2 other times and a call had been placed again fairly recently but no investigation on the last call... it might have saved them some horrid pain. These children were observed by many begging and screaming to not be thrown... even fighting and trying to throw their mother instead of them being the ones to land on the hard earth 24 feet below them...What is this world coming to? Why do we see the sick things we see now and no apparent intervention...

If you want to see more information concerning this you can go to either wfaa.com or google it...

Then a sign of things happening good... My daughter had gotten very quiet over the last month (12 yr old) and to the point we were wondering if there were drugs or something going on as she was usually our hyper outgoing child... we talked and talked and talked to her.. finally a couple of weeks ago after picking her up at school she broke... she came to the car all redfaced and crying.. I asked her what was wrong and she said mom its my best friend here at school she is being abused and its not by her parents and they have done everything they can but the police wont do anything nor will anyone else. I told her to talk to her counselor and pray about it...well that she did... if anything this girl is... she is a prayer warrior... I cant tell you how many times I have heard her in her room at night just travailing for this girl... well she calls me on her cell phone from school the other day asking if this girl could spend the night. I said yes and I wanted to speak to her parents. Well then that lead to another long conversation...

Her parents are athiest mom and so is she. Oh fun!!!! She is also not allowed to come to church sunday. So I gave in and said that was fine. I figured if I let her come a few times and not say well she has to leave before we go to church or whatever that might lead to her wanting to go. So then her mom comes over to meet me. She asks about the church thing. Says she heard my husband is a preacher. I say yes but we understand your belief... we do not agree but we understand and if you do not allow her to go that is fine. She paused for a long time and then asked her daughter what she wanted to do??? She said mom I would like to go... hahahaha well... the mom agreed... but only if she could come along also to hear what her daughter is being taught!!!!! So this Sunday I will be taking a family of 5 Athiests to church with me... yall gotta pray pray pray saints!

Well Bros n Sis' Today is the day the little Atheist girl and her mom are coming to church! I am so excited and apparently they are too as my daughter was up all night at the hospital with her granny again and yet when I woke "C" up this morning to ask her if she still wanted to go... went into the room and she was already dressed and ready to go!!! I reminded her Zoey wouldnt be going she said she didnt care that she still was!!!

She is the most respectful young lady and she has talked and talked to me about church. She told me just last night how horrible her life has been and if there is anything that can change it she is ready to try it!

I am believing today can be her day for a change!

I read about the mother throwing the kids from the bridge. I don't know what to say about that...

But it is wonderful what God is using you to do for your daughter's friend family.

In both situations, I will pray...

Wow. Man, that is tragic...about the lady and her kids. I can hardly imagine something like that.

I'm glad for the good report though. I'm proud of your daughter. That's awesome!
