Monkey's Great News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been in the works for quite a while now...the local Christian radio station came to me and asked me to run the radio side of the station. I accepted! I am responsible for anything played over the airwaves. I choose format, programs, music, on-air talent, and much more. I will also be doing the morning show.The board brought me in last Wednesday, laid hands on me, and asked me to be led by the Holy Ghost in my decisions for the station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I had a staff meeting with board members present, and my pastor and a friend of mine who pastors laid hands on, and prayed over the staff.

So....please pray for my station, "Positive Hits/Joy Fm 96.5" and please pray for me for both direction and protection.

I will still continue to do my ministry at the church so I will be tiiiiiiired!!!!

Congratulations! Sounds like a great opportunity. When I was 16 I had a program on our local radio station called "Today's Gospel Music" where I tried to bring contemporary gospel music to a small town in North Central Louisiana. Not an easy task in the mid 70's!

Unfortunetely I do not have one of those great radio voices and did not pursue that as a career.

What times will you be on the air and what time zone are you in there so I can figure out what time it would be here. I would like to give you a listen online if I can.

We are on Atlantic time. It's 11:08 AM here... You would be two hours behind us on Central Time... So 6:30 AM our time, 8:30 AM yours for MM's show.
