I am new to the Forum. I have read a lot of interesting things so far. I am so pleased to have stumbled upon it while searching for the lyrics of a song on Google. Anyway, my name is Missy. I go to The First Pentecostal Tabernacle, in Tampa, Florida, where I am the drummer, singer, fill in piano player, and young girls Sunday school teacher. I love my church very much. I look very forward to gettng to know you all, and being a part of the forum. Thanks!!!:friend

I grew up in Florida. I lived in South Florida for a little while and then moved to central Florida. Been all over the state for meetings and such!

Hmm.... If you lived here I'm sure you have heard of my grandpa. He pastored our church in Tampa for 66 years :) Everyone know him, or at least knows of him.

I can't say that I remember him... I would probably recognize him if I saw a pic... I mostly remember those in the central Florida area. I spent a lot of time at Apopka for choir fests and such. Also been to many meetings at the Varnum's church.

yes. Bro. Williams... His brother, who pastors in Ocala, used to be my pastor...
The pics of your website are great....sorry, I don't remember him...
How many churches are there in the Tampa area now? I thought I heard there were quite a few...
Back about 15 or so years ago, Tampa had one of the best choirs in the state... Wow they were great! I moved out of state when I got married and haven't really kept up on things in Florida.

Good for you!!!! You have lots of pics.... I like that. When I visit a church site, I love to see lots of pics....especially churches that I used to visit alot. I have lost contact with many friends and it's always nice to what they are up to now!

Had to be late 70's, early 80's. What a church. Great people- and Bro McNatt was the finest. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't get to know him very well, as I was just there briefly- but what an honor it was to have known him.

Aww... well thank you. We miss him so much. I guess if it was in the 70's I wasn't there considering I wasn't born until the 80's
