What are the Most Productive Years of Life?
20's?
30's?
40's?
50's?
60's?
65 & over?
I ask because at 40ish...
It occurs to me that there is only so much time in which to make a difference. I need to get to it.
It occurs to me that I need to let go of what was and focus, instead, on what is and will be.
It occurs to me that I need to focus less on what others think of me. I have decided not to let their perception determine my identity or my path.
has to be 40s and 50s
in your 40s (im almost there). you panic and realize you dont have much time left before retirement so you do what you should have done at 25... only you dont have the energy because you waisted it staying up way too late and acting like a fool at 25.
next post for comments on 50s (still need 19 posts)
When you finally hit 50, you are more productive because everyone younger than you thinks your old and therefore have wisdom.....
Once you get to your 60's your kids think you are about as smart as you were when they were 18.

As a 38 year old (soon to be 39), I will be entering my 40's and hope they are MUCH more productive then my 30's. :)
Ferd, how old are you?
I will be 39 in August.

I know people my age who's kids are out of the house!

I dont even have the excuse of waiting late in life to marry! May 26 will be my 13th anaversary!

I said 30s because I hope that it will be prophetic.

you spend most of your thirties trying to live down your twenties.
If you didnt do anything to live down, you will likely try to make up for the lost time.
its like being an adolecent all over again. you know you cant play with your baby toys anymore, but when nobody is looking...

I hope it's the 40's.
I'd hate to think life is over.

Are the results of the poll indicative of how old most forum members are rather than what they think are most productive years? IOW, they think THEIR age is most productive... because, really, who wants to think they're out of the most productive years? lololol

A.E. it varies by individual, also definition of "productive". Highest earning potential has historically been in the late 40s to early 50s.
Spiritually, who can say?
This past Sunday I visited the River of Life Church in Houston. One lady there in her 80s testified even though she was raised in the church the last couple years have been the most productive of her life as far as soul winning. She heads up a small group Bible study that had an attendance of 48 last week.

Well, I've just been thinking about time a lot here lately.
There are some things I've been mulling over for a while that need to be acted upon immediately.
You ever feel that kind of unction? That time is against you?

I hope it's 50's!!! Finally you have a few things figured out, what works and what doesn't work. I'm hoping these next ten years of our lives we can do more than we've done in the past thirty!

how would you define "productive"? I can have as many kids as I want from now well into my 60's, by God's Grace and with the help of the willing concubines....

"productive", "success", it's all subjective and thus, relative.
