I have a friend whose daughter and son-in-law are in Iraq. Her daughter called today and asked her to please pray extra hard because she will be in danger for the next two weeks. Lisa (the mom) is very worried but trying to trust God to take care of her baby. Brooke is 20 years old. I cannot even begin to imagine what this mother is feeling, nor do I want to. Please help me pray for Brooke's safety.

We will be praying for this family, and the soldiers.

The day before my husband left for Iraq, I told him that God has already walked the streets of Iraq, (this was and is my comfort).

I will pass this thought along to Lisa. She is a very strong believer, but she is also a mom. She is very concerned for her daughter. When she called me before lunch, she was crying and she hasn't done that often.

Will pray.

If I may ask, what is she doing there?
If she was in combat, she would be there longer than 2 weeks.

She is in combat. She just got a new assignment and knows what she will be doing for two weeks. Before today she had assured her mom that she had a relatively safe job and not to be worrying too much. She called her mom today and asked her to pray. She can't tell her what she will be doing but apparently she is worried herself.
