Adino came to hear me preach in Mich. Sunday he didn't get to stay for all the service since he had prior engagements but it was a pleasure meeting him. When he sat down I felt like it was him. That is odd how some folks just look like who they are.

He told us about your meeting on Synadelfos ... I'm glad y'all finally got a chance to meet.
I met a sister from KY here in TN (I'm visiting my sister, Darcie, in Jackson) who was visiting her family in Dresden. We met and spoke at Chuck E. Cheeses. She said she has met you before. She attends a church pastored by Paul Perkins.
She said I should listen to you more often .... :reaction
She, like I, are saddened to hear that you might be resigning your church (not sure if you have or haven't) ... I pray you are well.

Iowa / Illinois are probably to liberal for Br Epley to visit, but I'd love to hear the Ol' boy preach sometime.
If you're ever in our nneck of the woods, give us a holler.

That is interesting how you Adino turned out be just as you imagined.
I am going to get to meet some more AFFer's at Amerigo's at West End tonight!
Of course they picked a bad day to visit Nashville as we have an 80% chance of rain.

I only wish I could have stuck around for the rest of the service and joined for some fellowship afterwards. My daughter was participating and performing in a Wesner Tuxedo show that evening. The event showcased various students who have become leaders in their high-schools. The show was given on Monday as well but she was only going to sing in the Sunday evening show because she had a districts forensics competition on Monday (btw, she took first place).
It would have been nice to sit and chat a while. I briefly talked to Tim Thomas (male vocal of the trio) when he came to the back of the church and also to Greg Davidson. I told Greg to relay my apologies for having to leave so early.
Glad I, at least, had opportunity for a brief meeting.
You didn't cut loose with that Catholic doctrine of yours once I left the building did you??? ;)
Hope your trip home went well. Sorry I did not get to meet your family.

Btw, Steve..... I told Tim I liked his new song called "Sometimes.." dealing with "all things work together for good..." . In my opinion, this is one of his better songs. Good words. He told me it's on his newest CD.

It would have been good to have visited with you. Greg said y'all was friends. Doesn't Jeff's oldest look like him and the daughter looks so much like her mother when she ws young it is almost scary. I think I may come back in August maybe then?

Hey Steve, good to see you. Hope all is well and your transition smooth.
Tell you the truth, I haven't seen Jeff's son in a while. I must have missed him that night you visited. You're right about his daughter.
About Greg, I've always been impressed with his hand shake. When you shake his hand it's like grasping a rock. He used to be a boxer. He surprised me with his singing abilities as well.
If you make it back up be certain to give me a heads up and we may be able to get together moreso than we had opportunity on your last visit. It might even be a little cooler up here than way down south in August.
God bless
