LOL, it is cold and raining in Maine. Little league starts around the beginning of April but I can't see teams being able to practice with snow covering the fields. I'm desperate for Spring to come. I think it in the 40's today!

Spring has come - - today!
You just live in an area that won't catch up for a couple months!

Taking advantage of this while I can, I have chicken and ribeyes on the grill.

I know, I know! Ugh....:tissue
Really it's not so bad up here. The spring, summer, and fall are great, love them, but winters can be a bear, esp this winter.

It is 86 here in phoenix today. About time the cold was starting to get to me. I do not like the 45 degree weather. Moved here for the heat and sun.

That just shows you how messed up most of the world is!
It is not America's foreign policy that makes us so hated in the world. It is our Football. All of the other countries are jealous they have had to settle for Soccer to keep from looking like copycats.*
*Yes my tongue is firmly planted in my cheek for those that don't know me.

Soccer; isn't that a sport? I thought good apostolic folk didn't do sports...
My kids were in soccer for a year. They were young, 5 and 7 as I recall and probably enjoyed it. I was amazed/horrified at the parents. Yelling and screaming at these little kids for a bad play. Not my cup of tea!

That would be the exception for our teams. They are quite civil.

Your memory is failing you. We were 7 and 9. And I don't recall any parents yelling. Of course, I probably wasn't paying attention. :)

My son dropped out of soccer in about the 5th grade. I was never so glad in my entire life. There's nothing worse than having to sit on those cold metal bleachers in the pouring rain when it's only 40 degrees in the springtime to watch your kid play.
By the way, we're supposed to get another 5-6" tomorrow afternoon here. Geesh! I can't WAIT till winter is over!!

Soccer is Great! My favorite team is Manchester United....because they win all the time! Haha! Not really, but they are my favorite. And their nickname? The RED DEVILS! I saw that John Atkinson on this board posted the Man united logo in his avatar for a while. The logo shows a little red devil...it would make for a good conspiracy story. LOL. They are phenomenal with some of the best players! Rooney, Ronaldo, Oshea, Scholes, Van Der Saar, Saha, Giggs, yep, they are great to watch!!!! English Premier league games are pretty much the cleanest games to watch, but Euro soccer brings out the Hooliganism. Haha!
