Very very true! This stupidity needs to stop and most of all the idiotic principle trying to act like they did nothing wrong... sounds as if they didnt even take action against the students that jumped her...

I love our Sheriff Joe. He is the best. He does some pretty odd things at times but I still like him.

We have a lot of illegals here in Phoenix but they are less than they were and I am sure word is getting out to swing wide of Phoenix. He is showing up at events where he knows they will be and starts arresting people. When the city complained that he was working inside their jurisdiction he said well then maybe you should start doing it so I don't have too.

I hate to stifle your indignation but the charges were dropped and the hispanic students reinstated the next day with apologies. School cameras showed one student kidding around with the girl and then showed her inflicting the scratches and bruises to herself. She admitted it when confronted and her father apologized to all concerned. The girl is now the one suspended.

WOW, I didn't hear about that part of it. Some kids will do anything for attention. We had that stuff going on all the time at the public school I went to, so when I first heard the story I thought it was probably true. I'm glad they found out the truth.

Sad to say but this story is one vindication of the push to have cameras everywhere. If Athens had not had those cameras, the five or six hispanics would have been crucified in the press and this would have turned into another media circus like Gena, La.
