Prayer for baby

Anna Claire Rice, born Friday, April 4 is undergoing tests. She weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz and all seemed fine until they heard a heart murmur and wanted to do more tests. It has been determined she has two holes in her heart but they will not do surgery for at least a few months. Now there are concerns she may have DiGeorge Syndrome. She is being seen at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.

Please lift her in prayer as well as her parents, Rusty and Jessica. (Rusty is my cousin)

Thank you all for your prayers. This little girl has a family connected to many, many believers and I know Heaven is being bombarded with prayers from prayer warriers on behalf of Anna Claire.

One of our little grandsons, who will be three the end of April, was born with two
holes in his little heart. It was so scary and devastating to all of us. He underwent
open heart surgery at 5 1/2 mos. He has done so well because of a God who is able
and has done great things.

Last Thursday I went to the heart specialist (said to have received the honor of
best pediatric heart doctor in the whole region. Dallas-Ft. Worth Metro-plex), with
our youngest daughter to have Benjamin checked after a year. At first it was every
six months, etc. I heard her as she said, "Ben is doing fantastic, I will see him in two
years". Also the gentleman who did the sonagram of his heart, kept saying, This is
great, this is fantastic, yes, he's doing great". Thank You, Lord God. YOU are great,
YOU are AWESOME!! We give YOU the praise, honor and glory.

Ben is very bright, energetic and full of life. To God be the glory, for great
things He has done, is doing, and will continue to do, in Jesus Name!

May He lead these parents as they travel this journey with little Anne Claire Rice.
May He give wisdom and anointing to the hands of every surgeon, physican, nurse,
or caregiver that touches or holds this precious little gift from God. In Jesus Name!

The mother of the baby received a call today from Vanderbilt that Anna Claire does NOT have Digeorge Syndrome!!!:bliss:bliss

Thank you ALL for praying. There is still the matter of the holes in her heart but the doctors are waiting several months in that regard and we are just believing God to take care of that too!

This is an update and prayer request for Anna Claire.

Anna is now almost 3 months old. The holes in her heart have not closed up and she is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, July 1 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Please put Anna Claire on your prayer lists as well as her parents and grandparents.

Anna Claire went into surgery this morning around 7 a.m. The surgery is expected to last until 1:00 this afternoon. I've received word that at this point everything is going good. Please continue to pray for Anna Claire, the doctors and staff performing the surgery, her parents and grandparents. Thank you.

Unless there are complications, these surgeries are pretty much 'cookbook' and the baby should do well.

Yes, I know they are quite common. She is at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital which is highly recognized as one of the best. But prayer never hurts! I know the parents and grandparents are trusting, believing folks but our human nature tends to make us anxious when our children are involved.

I don't want to seem cavalier. That's not my intent! It is still heart surgery! And by all means pray pray PRAY!

Did not take it in that regard at all.

Anna Claire is out of surgery, the doctors say everything went fine and she is doing well. Thank you for your prayers!
