There sure is a lot of talk…

Debating the right or wrongs of light-beer . . . .eeerrr…… I meant to say light-makeup … :)

Discussing how much to pay an evangelist…. Or NOT to pay 

The proper duties of an assistant pastor, or IF we even need one….

This line was removed by Admin

Should we take a cruise or go to Branson with friends….???:highfive

Or maybe better yet….. rent a Greyhound bus and go to AMC Conference in Nashville..…:tiphat

Yep……
There sure is a lot of talk goin’ on…

I think it’s called LIFE…… 

It’s great isn’t it

And in the middle of all of us being human and fussing with our flesh…

God has been busy being God … in spite of us.

Some of you are walking through a valley deeper than you could have imagined for yourself. :aaa

Hang tight….. It’s a miracle in the making.
The testimony the Lord is going to give you will bless many with confidence that they too, can persevere, by and through Him.

Many of you are experiencing the greatest move of God, thus far, of your entire ministry!

It isn’t because YOU are so brilliant and magnificent! It’s because He is faithful to His Word. You have obeyed His Word…. He is honoring His covenant to bless those who are obedient. HE is the ONE who is so amazing!

I’m not real sure how YOU feel……..
But I know MY faults… I know MY Weaknesses…. I know MY FAILURES!.....

And when He moves into a service like He did for us on Sunday night, THEN I KNOW ….. It’s ALL about HIM !.... NOT me!

God allowed me to watch as a man who came to church in a wheelchair, paralyzed on his left side… raised his good right hand in worship, lifting our Lord to the highest point of praise that his crippled body would allow….

We worshipped with him as he lifted his “drawn” crippled left hand as high as he could…. Then a little higher… his arm, hand and fingers seemed to relax… he just kept reaching higher….two men lifted him to his feet… held him up for a while at the altar, as he continued to worship….

Evangelist Gary Blacksher had already prayed for him and proclaimed that God would allow him to “walk out of here tonight”.

God allowed me to witness as that young man started STOMPING his feet… both of them!

I told him he needed to start walking across the front of the church praising God…..

God allowed me to watch as this young man did exactly as I told him and as God had promised……

He walked back and forth across the front of the church a couple of times, and then broke into a RUN around the church.

He lifted up Jesus……. Jesus lifted him UP….. from his wheelchair!

Needless to say the church “came un-glued”!

God allowed me to witness a lady bartender 60 plus years old, pray through to the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

God allowed me to baptize another lady in Jesus name, and witness her infilling of the Holy Ghost as she came out of the water, the JOY of the Lord all over her.

ALL THAT AND MUCH MORE … Sunday night.

1 month ago I buried a 56 yr old backslider.

His un-saved 45 yr old widow was in our service last night….2nd time ever in an Apostolic Pentecostal service..

She called today …. Wanted to know if it would be alright to get baptized in Jesus Name, during Bible Study on Tuesday night.

BIBLE STUDY… WHAT TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY ?...?...?

We have a death and BIRTH to celebrate!

I’m not sure what all God has in mind to do with us…..through us… FOR HIM….

I do know ….I’m not up to it…. But ….HE IS!!!!!

PLEASE FORGIVE THE LoooooooG EPISTLE.

I’m just really grateful for all HE has allowed……….me to witness.

Thank you for posting this thread. Reading how awesome God moved in your Sunday service reminded my of that song "Only Believe". We need more threads like this on AFF.

Miss Bratt,

I believe the light make-up thread was actually on the minister's forum, not here.

Also, what was deleted by Admin was something that's posted as a sticky not to discuss here.

Even though what he was saying maybe true I felt that he was being a smartelic in a way. Kinda made the whole post ugly.

Little QueenSister,

You have posted many, many times on this forum. You have said

a lot that others might think was not necessarily perfect. Everyone

may not have been interested in all the talk about what was going

on in your life. But has anyone ever said what you did talk about, sounded

smartelic! This brother has only posted 7 times. It did not come across

as smartelic to me. Maybe not as experienced as yours or some that have

posted much longer. Let's have confidence in each other! Love doesn't

find fault with our sister or brother. Love is kind! Love is not critical!!

Please, little Sister, do not take this wrong as I would not offend you

for anything. By the same token, we shouldn't offend others either!!

Blessings,

Falla39

What this brother wrote may have taken away from the true meaning and purpose of his thread by what he wrote at the beginning. I learned recently to try and see the good in what people are trying to relay when they write on this forum.

I was blessed to hear about the powerful move of God where a young man was healed. That was what I took away from this thread. God is our healer and our deliverer.

Let the Lord deal with this brother and pray for him. We are only offended if we allow ourselves to be. Sis Falla has brought much wisdom to AFF and she was right on with the post here on this thread.

Let's see others through the eyes of Jesus.

I am sorry for what I posted. There was one comment made that was a little harsh to me and I guess I just let it affect my mind as I read the rest.

Again I am sorry, I am happy to hear what the Lord is doing.

Sweet Little Sister,

I can understand why some could have been less than happy about

something in the beginning of the post. But I checked his membership

and knowing he had only began to post, I was able to better understand.

You are very sweet and in following your progression of your pregnancy,

I often can almost feel where you are in it. Why! Been there, done that,

several times...and got the babies!!! The fruit of the womb is HIS REWARD!

God is rewarding you and your hubby as you are receiving a gift, a REWARD

from God!:happydance May He give you an easy, safe delivery of this

precious gift, in Jesus Name!!!

Blessings,

Thank you very much for you kind words and prayers. I guess I am as real on this forum as I am in person I guess, sometimes I need to stop and think before I speak as well as post. Thank you for helping.

The purpose of my post was to bring to the forefront the marvelous, miraculous infallibility of Deity and at the same time humorously accentuate the fallibility of our carnal, fleshly nature.

My sole intent was to edify the created and give glory to the Creator.

I certainly did NOT intend to be perceived as a, (as one poster described me), a “smartelic”.

While we wallow in debate over our differences, God Almighty goes ahead and reveals Himself as who He really is; The ALMIGHTY who became flesh in order to redeem us from our fallen, sinful nature.

When we seriously seek God, as he was sought in Acts chapter 2…. as he was sought at Azusa….

When we seek Him, as in Matt 6:33 and 7:7…..

We will and do find Him……

Someone else has already said it on this thread, in so many words, WE FIND WHAT WE LOOK FOR.

If I am looking to please God….I will be able to do so.

If I am looking to please my flesh…. I will be allowed to do so…

Let’s please Him….. for His glory.

Blessings to all

PS to admin.
Sorry about the one line which NEEDED to be deleted from my original post.
I usually post on a minister/pastor thread, where those issues are discussed.:nah
I trust this post is more “post-able”.

You are welcome, sweet Sister,

I was once young but now I am older! Now I can help with the same

help that I myself was sometimes helped!! We all get our turn!
