Bro. DanielR,

Your baby is so precious. Everytime I see it's picture,
I want to cuddle it!:nod

Bro. DanielR,

Went back to your threads and saw that little Austin James is indeed a son!
Had not read your previous posts about him but had definitely noticed his pic
and knew he certainly looked like a "son". Some babies you cannot tell but he
looks like a "little man". Precious! A month old today!:nod

We had a little grandson (he just turned 13) who had a "true" knot in his umbilical
cord at birth. He was also blue at birth but God through miracleous circumstances
took care of this child also.

We have 20 grandchildren, 15 of them grandsons, the youngest was born on
March 27, 2008 and the eldest grandson is almost 25.

There were eleven children in my family. Ten of we siblings are still living. Lost our
first sibling last Sept.

My husband and I raised six (three of each) children. It might
seem that at 68 yrs. I would be "tired" of babies, but it has only gotten stronger.
Each one is SO precious! Children are the heritage of the LORD; and the fruit of the
womb is his reward. It is easy to overlook the next verses. Ps.127:4,5 "As arrows are
in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath
his quiver full of them: they shall speak with the enemies in the gate, (Many have not
realized the value of these verses when they are young, but when they mature and
get some wisdom, these verses come alive.)
Brother, it may be tough now, but just wait around. Raise your children in the fear
and admonition of the LORD and you will be a blessed man indeed! Fear the LORD and
escew (hate) evil. Train up these children in the way they should go and when they
are old, they shall not depart from it. The Word of God is true.

Just some words from the heart of a seasoned sister.

Blessings,

Thank you Falla39 for your words of wisdom. Austin is my 4th child, but he is also my parents' 16th grandchild, of that 9 are boys. I just noticed that you are the same age as my mother and your words could easily be mistaken for hers as well. She never tires of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She get excited about every one. In addition to Austin, she will add 3 great-grandchildren to the family this year as well. She is so excited about all the new babies. I do wish that I could spend more time with Austin and his mother (not to mention his half-siblings) but my job keeps me away from home. Thank you again for your kind words.

God Bless You,

Daniel

awwwwwwwww, I have 9 precious grandbabies and will have 2 more this year. I am so excited. Sorry you have to be away from your family, been there done that when my husband just came home on weekends. Even drove myself to the hospital to have one of my kids, that was funny because I passed the turnoff for the the hospital and had to drive another mile to turn around.

Bro. DanielR,

We don't have any great-grands yet. Our eldest grandson is the only one
married at this time. They were married four yrs. in Jan. He is our only hope
for a great-grandbaby at this time. His wife is so anxious to be a mother.

There was a time when my husband's job took him away from home during
the week. Wasn't easy with five young children but we were thankful that
he had a good job that provided for our family. Sometimes we have to go
through times and things that are not easy, but if we are committed to God
and to the family, He will see us through.

Just "be thankful to Him and bless His name, for the LORD is good, His mercy
is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations".

Blessings to you and your sweet family,

Falla39

Four is easier than three.

Congratulations, by the way.
