Well, I'm thrilled it's Friday, but not so thrilled that it appears summer is finally arriving. We traditionally have about 3 weeks of spring and then summer (by which I mean summer weather) usually hits by about mid April.
We have had a really nice year so far, it has stayed really pretty with nice weather for a lot longer than normal. But it appears that the good times are over, the heat is finally arriving.
It is 10:00 a.m., and the temp. is 94°F, the forecast is for it to get to 100°F, but with it being this warm already, I think we will probably go higher than that.
So, I am grumpy. I think I am going up to the mountains tomorrow, they are having a lilac festival, that will be a good escape and it is just 30 minute drive.

I head up pretty good. I turned in each night around 9:00 I was so wiped out, but I made it!
Got lots to do at work, but it's Friday and I don't feel like doing it - lol! I have to leave early anyway to go to Little Rock for my nephew's graduation tonight so no need to get all involved in some project!

Usually I am out by noon on friday, or off. But I skipped out early to watch Cody's baseball game on Tuesday. Pitched 4 inning and only gave up one hit, it was worth it.

My nephew (who lived with us) is getting married tomorrow, so we have rehearsal and a dinner tonight. Then late tonight my daughter and her new fiance will be here for the weekend. It will be the first time I've seen him in five years, so I'm excited about that. Tomorrow is the big outdoor wedding - pray for nice weather. I hope it's cool like today; that would be awesome!!! Zac and Rodney are here for the summer and Ashley will be here to stay after next week. It will be a full house again, after nine months with just me and Eddie. I guess I'll have to be fully clothed at all times for a while. LOL!

We are leaving as soon as I get off work going to Knoxville for the weekend. Jon and I are going to help my sister Tracy work the Iris Festival in Greeneville, TN. She sets up as an outside vendor and she is paying our gas up there and back and a commision of her sales to come work. I LOVE east Tennessee so this will be a working vacation for me - expenses paid! Being as Jon hasn't worked in six months, and still doesn't know when he will be back - a regular vacation this summer looks non-existent....:tissue

The bun was butter, then grilled, so there was a nice crisp texture to it.
The bologna was about 3/4 inch thick and over six inches in diameter (yes it hung off the sides of the bun), it was dipped in mild sauce and grilled. It was Good!!!
