While she finished all her classes a few months ago she finally "officially" graduated from UW-Madison this past weekend with her Doctorate of Pharmacy.
I have a couple of degrees myself but could never sit for the years required to get something like this. I am extremely proud of her.
I only hope that mail doesn't start arriving saying "Dr Gail & Husband" from now on. LOL
(Note: Today is her first day of work as a pharmacist for CVS here in Mesa, AZ!)

LOL
You know what though? After ALL the work she put in to get to this point, I wouldn't even mind being called that -for a week or two (MAX!).

Congrats to your wife, Randy! My daughter wants to enter a scientific field but I'm hoping she will get into the pharmacological industry in some capacity, as her expectations of her education are quite high. She's only 14, but recently told her careers teacher at school that she wanted nothing less than a master's degree, but would probably go for her doctorate.
Again, congrats to your wife. And I love that robe!
Congratulations!
It is hard work to do what shew did, & she picked a good field that is only expected to grow as the population grows!
BTW, who is the guy in the pic with her, a classmate?:hmmm

PharmD? That is a big accomplishment, so please tell her congratulations for me. After she gets her feet wet on the retail side, she should seriously consider "specializing" in home infusion care.
She could really utilize that degree to become a Pharmacy Manager at a home health company; they make a great living and work at a job that is very rewarding. There is a lot of patient care involved, which some people find attractive in a job.
God bless you two.
