Yesterday I asked you to pray for Brother Alvear to get his visa with no problem. We were at the visa place early this morning and all worked out fine. He should get it in 5 days! Thanks for your alls prayers.

Yes, it was scary there today...the police (guards) got everyone together and told us they have 4 different alarms..if one would sound for us to drop to the floor...etc...

There was an uneasiness in the air...

I had to have a letter from my sister taking full responsibility for us...boy am I going to tease her...I think I will send her my light bill...ha...

Might just send her my gro. bill....No she would faint...she thought she was having fainting spells when she visited with me there were so many people coming in and out my house...she told me she could not stand something like that going on in her home...that was so funny because I am so used to all the noise and never knowing if I have anything left in the kitchen to eat that I find life quite interesting...It would be boring to know what you are going to have tomorrow for lunch...we usually just wait and see and HE gives us wonderful surprizes...
I let HIM plan and worry...I just cook when He gets it to me...
It has worked for 40 years...

yes we are in arkansas still, we will be heading out tomorrow to go to mississippi.
do we know about mother alvears kitchen. i was just remembering with my wife years ago when we first moved to the north and we didnt have anything to eat but a couple cups of rice, you invited us to come over and eat that awesome pernil (translate that) man i can still taste that folks..
sister alvear is an awesome cook folks. her food is finger-licking good. :-)
