ugh! I really don't like snakes! :) what kind of snake is that? I don´t know the name in English but I would guess it to be in the Anaconda family. My kids are asleep or I would ask them.

It doesn't look very big. But then I guess it doesn't have to be as some snakes have hinged jaws.

LC I have killed a copperhead snake in my kitchen with a pickle jar. Snakes don't really scare me.

I am really not afraid of them either. I have seen some very big ones back in the inlands and jungles but not in the cities.

I grew up in the country ...As a very young child I saw a snake swallow a live baby chick. Talk about a traumatic event! I wanted to help the baby chick but could do nothing but stand there and scream. I was probably around 5 years old or maybe a few years older. That is one memory I would like to forget.

It was a little parakeet bird. (hope that is spelled right.)

I am feeling better - but still have fever, cough and aching. Thanks for asking. I hope I didn't offend you with my comment about your spelling. I would never do that intentionally. I am not a good speller at all.

snakes, spiders, bugs, rats, mice, frogs, toads, buzzards, vutures, you name it I probably do not like it. never guess I grew up on a farm would you?

and so many more things I could add to the list.

My son used to have a Boa.

Had to feed it live mice.

Not for the weak of stomach to watch.

Got to the point where it was actually pretty good sized rats.

With the snake?

BTW I was reading a news item here about the "uncontacted" indians there. Seems recently a plane spotted a tribe of uncontacteds...two were blue...one was all black and one was red I think. I guess they have laws about not contacting some tribes or not interfering with them. They live like they have been living for hundreds of years
