If they spell the name Miracle we are most likely related. The name is from where Germany is today and was first spelled "merkel" as in the current German Chancelor. Our ancestors had to flee the country because of famine and Catholic persecution. By way of England Fredrick Merkel first came to NY and several generations later most of the family settled in Bell County KY. Feel free to pass on my name to Rodney.

Miracle... that is an amazing name. On this board, I would have had to name myself, Miracle! :):) I pray for all to have miracles in the lives.

Have you had experiences to live up to your name "Miracle"??

I believe we are moving in the direction of our thoughts much of the time.... Soooooo, what a blessing, when one is always moving toward a miracle. :):)
