I just got an email from one of our people. One of the gals who just got saved, and just this week decided to move out of an ungodly relationship woke up this morning speaking in tongues and continued to speak in tongues for an hour or so. She was so excited; has no Pentecostal background and really didn't even know much about what had happened to her, other than the fact that she had really committed her life to God and was seeking all He had for her! I think that's such an awesome thing; proving that God honors right decisions.

Sherri, Not only is this awesome for new converts. We should take a moment alone once in every so often and do this ourselves.

It was a couple months ago.

I was going to be home alone for a few hours.

That almost never happens in my house.

I put on some old praise music.

Starting praising God all by myself.

I found myself so lost in the spirit.

When my wife came home she asked me what was wrong...

Why are you smiling????

I decided to not let her in on my secret...

I think it is time to do it again.....

This gal called me a while ago and said that she had to talk to the person about breaking off this ungodly relationship and was afraid that he would really be upset about it. When she told him, he said that he had noticed how different she was lately and he was expecting this. He said that he realized that she wasn't cussing or telling dirty jokes, etc., and that he was proud of what she had decided. God totally worked out this situation for her! She is so excited about the Lord!

I love people who are fresh out of the world; they can affect so many people that we can never reach on our own. All the people she works with have also been asking questions about why she's so different and she is trying to get several of them to come to church on Easter.
