Kentucky Family Stuck In Vancouver W/Sick Child

This is a sad story.
This family is stuck in Vancouver after a lay over from Kentucky onroute to Bejing for some experemental treatment.

Both Air China & Air Canada have denied permission for them to fly on thier airlines for the 13 hour flight to China.

They say her daughter is too sick.

She was on talk radio this morning and her story was apparently shown on the news last night.

Thanks Tina, it is hard being a parent and hearing an anguished parents plea for thier children.

We had two boys in the Vancouver area this past week, one a 23 month old & the other a 19 month old.
The parents were attending a wedding shower & the kids got away just for a moment & ended up in the backyard pool.

The 23 month old just passed away & the 19 month old is still clinging to life.

So sad!

The mother and her daughter are on thier way via a medivac or air ambulance trip to Kentucky.

She is devastated.

Please pray, I feel God wants to do something for this family.

Last I heard she got cleared to go and is in China now for treatment.

I pray all goes well & that she is not being used as a guinea pig.

Why are they going to China? Why not go to Children's in Memphis? That is a great children's hospital.

St. Jude's is mostly for children with different types of cancer. Not sure what is wrong with this child.

That first link is probably outdated, sorry.
The Child has a rare disease that they are trying an experimental procedure out on in China.

It is almost always fatal, & will kill her at an early age.
As luck (or unluck) would have it, her younger brother has the same disease.
This mother is desperate to try anything.

It would be great to see if God could do something for this family.
