To celebrate I slept in, had curly fries (a homemade potato chip), and Jumbo dogs at the river. Our city has a huge block party all day...Then I went to the U.S., had ribs, bought a little couch for the bedroom, ate an awful awful (milkshake with a soft serve ice cream center, then returned to Canada to watch the fireworks!!!! Whew...now I get to do it all over again on Friday.
BTW, next year July 4th is on a Saturday, I will be headed to Boston for the best 4th of July EVER!!!!! (If the Lord tarries)
