Pray for me - it has been over 24 hours since I shaved! Do you think I should shave for Sunday morning? I am not preaching so maybe I could be unshaven and still be legal! Oh No - I just thought of this - My guest preacher has facial hair I think! I will talk to him tonight and see if he wants to be Legal or not!

Hmmmm well - Actually - The second pic was taken before and the first one after - but I have shaved again so it appears that the second pic is the most recent! Funny how pictures are sometimes deceiving! :happydance

You also weren't using as much Grecian in the after picture that is actually the before picture.:slaphappy
I like the natural look on top and the clean shaven "un-natural" look on the face!:tiphat :slaphappy

I think the NO FACIAL HAIR - make me look FAT!

I look in the mirror and see a slim, trim - full head of hair, good looking young preacher - but others tell me I am fat, balding and old!!!!!!!!!

o my...stomp on the devil !! ya just gave me a flash back to the church i came into 37 years ago.
Pastor would encourage us all to "stomp on the devil"
seeing how he is the prince and power of the air, we were all instructed to stomp our feet on the devil.
The whole church in their stomping around like a bunch of.....er ah apostolics

AWE............ But My Wife sure Liked it! She has always liked me with facial hair! It may be because she wanted me to look OLDER than her! She is beautiful and maybe I will put her pic up with mine!
AB, I couldn't care less if you have a goatee or not, but you look better without it. It made you look kinda shifty, to be honest. Without it I think people (those you're trying to reach) might respond more positively. JMO. :tiphat

We planted Church Alive of Atlanta on May 1, 2006 and we are avererging 80+ so if being clean shaven will make more people respond - we should double in the next few months! I do appreciate your post to me! :)

Yes it does Phil. What made me chuckle was the memory of 80 peoeple being "encouraged" to stomp around the church, stomping on the debil.
It was quite a sight.

I understood that... I enjoy the freedom of worship in Apostolic circles and I agree that it can be quite amusing at times. I just try to remember that I have no idea what the person worshiping to my amusement has been through or why they worship as they do.:friend
I also was really responding to your reference to the debil being the prince and the power of the air. I am of the opinion that we Apostolics do not live according to the power we have through the blood and the name of Jesus and we end up esteeming the enemy and expressing more faith in the debil than we express in God!:tiphat

I think you're wrong on this one, brother. I hate to say it, but I think the facial hair made you look just a tad heavier. I like it much better now that it's gone. Of course, I've always liked either a full beard or nothing. I hate goatees and mustaches don't do much for me either. JMHO

:begging It was my favorite suit and had stripes up and down and MADE ME look slimmer! That is why I had it on in BOTH pictures - taken a couple months apart. I have a NEW favorite one that I had custom made in Korea when I was there.
