Not me. I don't know which is the best but I would not use them. They are expensive and for slow download and upload speeds...not worth it.

But if that is all you can get, go for it....but find out if ATT or Verizon wireless has a service....they just plug a special card in and u use their cell phone network

pastorrick, I went with Alltel wireless instead of satellite, as it was much less expensive. I really like it. I didn't have to pay but $150 with a $50 mail in rebate, for my card that plugs into my tower. And the monthly cost is about $70 w/tax.

P.S. Most satellite company's charged at least $300 for the dish and then $60 or more monthly.

Ok first of all yes the wireless services as the others mentioned work well.. all it is is working thru your wireless provider.. if you indeed have one... and they have a strong signal where you are..

We did Dish Satellite internet for a short time. I do not know if they have it as an option yet. We were one of their guinea pigs. LOL... it was very good and cost was nothing really additional from having the regular satellite service and a bundle package. However if you dont do tv or satellite... then well... its a decent cost for just the ability to have internet. With Dish there was no additional cost for them to come add the stuff needed for the internet. again I am not sure on their specifics as it was a trial basis type thing but if you are interested you might check their website and see if they offer it as an option now. We use FIOS now so I am much more pleased but I do also know thats not available in rural areas.

AG it is totally different now, our DirectTV offered us two options with different providers. Separate dish and big bucks to start. Wild Blue and Hughes Net were the two that I contacted.

We have Hughes Net. The initially set up (dish) cost was $$$ but the monthly is cheaper than the ISP that was down so much. Cable isn't available here.

Check with Verizon or ATT for their wireless service. Not DSL or Cable. It's more expensive though
