Eddie preached on baptism today and it was the best I've ever heard. We have one lady whose husband was a UPC pastor for many years and when she left, she said it was the best explanation of Jesus' name baptism she'd ever heard. We baptized four immediately after service, and have a bunch more next week already scheduled! Praise God!

He's in the middle of a series called "Metamorphosis" and last week was on Repentance, this week on Baptism, and next week on the Holy Ghost. SO WHO SAYS WE AREN'T THREE STEPPERS??????:ursofunny

Awesome, Sherri!

This part was especially needful to add:

We have one lady whose husband was a UPC pastor for many years and when she left, she said it was the best explanation of Jesus' name baptism she'd ever heard.

For you that would be a smart move anyway....

Ask the big questions about life... Bring up the wheelchair and the spikes, for example.

Hey, we had new people at Cordova today and a good service. Eddie preached on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It was very new stuff for some of those people.

We had some people from Jackson there who hadn't been there in a couple of months. They said it felt like a totally different church, so that was good to hear.
