I would like to formally apologize to you Daniel. There are many issues that we will never see eye to eye on tis side of glory, but I know I have shown a wrong spirit many times toward you. I have recognized this, and am trying my best to put asunder that wrong spirit, and would like to apologize for it. I want to show a Christian character whether I am in a heated discussion, or whether I am in full agreement with what is being said.

I ask for your prayers that I will be able to overcome this, and not succumb to it any longer.

Apology accepted ... I am sorry for an abrasiveness that oft seems to come out in my postings. I have also approached you in a wrong way.

Please forgive me, Matt for any offense.

Both of us have demonstrated a love for truth and passion for our convictions ... for this we are also guilty.

I am of the opinion that we read way too much into the electronic symbols we see on the screen ...

A lot is lost because we do not get to see facial expressions, body gestures, tonality, etc ... in our discussions.

I'm sure if we were all able to meet in person many of our perceptions would change of each other ....

Matt, so good to see you working things out within yourself as well as with Daniel.

It's wonderful to see such charity and grace. :heart

Reading this thread was a refreshing way to get back to AFF after a fun but hectic July 4the weekend that has kept me away.

Both DA and St. Matthew are men with great intellect and a love for God. This was good to see. We all have those times when, if we are honest with God and ourselves, when we need to do exactly what was done here. Sometimes on this forum and sometimes in our everyday "real" world.

Is this a pause in the war of words? I hear crickets instead of gunfire! The calm is making me nervous! :D

But we are good for this week.

Tune in a couple of weeks from now.

You never know when he will start one of his Bapticostal rants and then, of course you know, that will mean war!:snapout

Thank you Daniel. And I do not know that I can fault you with anything, but I forgive you nonetheless. I also believe that we would probably get along fine if we were to meet in person.

Matt I'm shocked at you! are you beginning to cave and
compromise???? The ultra cons are surely going to take
this as a sign of weakness.

What a party crasher !!! :crazy:snapout

Psalm 133:1-3 from The Amplified Bible
1Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment poured on the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of Aaron [the first high priest], that came down upon the collar and skirts of his garments [consecrating the whole body].
3 It is like the dew of [lofty] Mount Hermon and the dew that comes on the hills of Zion; for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, even life forevermore [upon the high and the lowly].
