I have noticed in Mineola that a couple of churches that had been having separate services for the Spanish speaking members, have now built new churches or moved into other buildings. So two Spanish speaking churches have great buildings without having to build or have services in run down buildings. The 2 churches that I know of are the AOG and COC. Does this happen in other towns and cities?

I dont' know, but what a blessing for them! Darcie and her husband have their Spanish service in our "Edge" venue. It's perfect for them right now. Eventually when they outgrow it, we will move them into another sanctuary setting I guess. I would love to think that someday we could give them a building.

This is also our intent here also we are in the midst of a huge building project and when done our curent sanctuary will be the home of our daughter works letting them have at no Cost a 1000 seat church which is how it should be

I am not sure if they were free, but just think even if they are paying some rent or something it is still great. I noticed the men of the AOG church Friday were cleaning the gutters and yard work. When I first noticed there were about 6 there when I left about that many more had shown up.

I know that Jabo Green in Spring did this ... A friend of mine was blessed to be able to use his old building for Spanish services on the campus ... for next to nothing.

I know of two more that have been exceptionally succesful, Brother Caleb Adams in Memphis has a Spanish work in the former gymnasium of his church that once was a daughter work and is now self governing, as does Brother clifford Clark in the city of Ontario, california who has also turned the former sanctuary into a spaniosh church with amazing results under the ministry of a Pastor (I am humiliated but his name is momentarily escaping me....I'm old)who is from Brother Johny Kings church in Alberta, Canada. Brother Vaughn Morton also has a wildly succesful track record in establishing Spanish assemblies, the old Belmont UPC is now his Spanish Daughter work, and If I am not mistaken the Clovis, California work (also a daughter work of Brother Mortons) is mostly Spanish speaking. Brother Joel Holmes has a Spanish work as do so many many others. Thats why I for one say THANK GOD for every immigrant from hispanic countries to our nation wether they came here by hook or by crook!
