I read over half the LS magic hair thread and I do not remember if this point was discussed. If it was, Sorry.

One "story" he told was of a male minister who had cut his long hair and his reason was that having long hair for longer than two years causes homosexual tendencies.

I do not have any worries, I am almost bald!

Does long hair cause men to go gay?

"Men. We are going to go outside. Find the nearest fire hydrant. Open it up. Stick our heads in it. And wash the gay away!"

I will refrain from comment, since I pretty much said my piece on another thread, lol.

Does being bald make someone act more masculine?

Let's make baldness salvic. If we find any sissy acting boys in our churches, WE ALL KNOW WHO THEY ARE----lets have a mandatory head shaving service. We could even advertise for outsiders to come to a, "cure the queer" service. Think of the business we could build up for local barbers. NO SALONS, no "HAIR CUTTERS." "SPORTS CLIPS" would be allowed.

Long = uncut.

Short = shaved!

There's a motto for you!

I can speak from athority that this is NOT the case. Homosexuality has no corelation with hair length on a man. My hair hasn't been cut for several years and I still very straight.

Ahh, come on Daniel. Are you sure? What if NO ONE found out? Do you protest too much? LOL,

This is not a serious thread. Have so fun with it--no one could possibly believe long hair/gay have a connection. If it were true.....

Reminds me of a statement a pastor said about his piano playing son and cowboy boots

The funny thing about the whole hair issue and long/short, women/men is Paul did not use the word short to refer to men's hair. He said not long, which we are told means uncut. So as long as they cut their hair however often they feel like their hair is short

Is there ever a serious thread on this forum?

Actually, I have run across people that truely believe that. My dad used to not allow me to part my hair in the middle (back when my hair was short enough to bother with parting) because to do so meant that I was queer. Many people believe some rather illogical things.

Yep I got preached at for that one

I remember getting preached at for having spiked hair (MacGyver had made it popular at the time)... and then later getting preached at for having a "weight line" (a small bulk of hair in the back, but cut short underneath)... at some point, I realized that pretty much anything but Brylcream must be a sin, so I began preparing myself for a life of eternal torment because God cares so much about the way I wear my hair...

I am beginning to rethink this whole thing. Maybe baldness does have a manly effect.

Imagine Mr. T saying, "Hey big boy, whacht you been doin?" "you shoor wearin nice pants, nice!" NOT.

Maybe the masculine effect in baldness for men is that they don't have to stand in front of a mirror to primp...just to flex their muscles!!!!

HA that would be neat...if you pastor has a comb over...I never seen a black man with a comb over, but one time. It happened to match the pastors hair style..seriously

Now that deserves a thread. :ursofunny

I guess if I tried to copy my pastor's do, I would have to go kind of James Brown/Little Richard/Rev Ike

When I was younger I had longer hair and when puberty struck I never had a gay feeling,the girls started to look oh so good and my heat-wave feelings were always towards females.
