We hear the expression bobbed hair a lot and there has been songs sung too. But did you know bobbed hair did not refer to cut hair but to a specific very short hair style worn during the 20s?

One would think... since we should not doubt these claims, that families where the women have uncut hair would get insurance discounts as well because of their decreased risk of any bad thing befalling them... :)

I wonder if I can get my agent convinced of this? My wife doesnt cut hers.... we ought to be solid! (i am not a proponent of magic hair)

So this is at least the 6th hair-related thread we've seen start up the last few days now.

I guess that's the topic of the month on AFF.

Bobbed hair refers to a short style specifically and not merely to cut hair

Could the "no cut hair" thing be a reaction to the short bobbed hair thing of the 20s?
