iPhone 2.0 finally...after 6 hrs!!!

I wasn't going to do it! However, after arriving at the ATT store @ 7:45am, (they were to open at 8am) I found out that they only had 10, 8gb phones! So, I headed to the next closest ATT store 30 mi away only to find that they had 9 left with a long line. So, since I am leaving for vacation Sunday am, I didn't want to wait for a couple of weeks to get the new phone. So, I called the Apple store, another 40 mi away (Lyndhurst/Cleveland) and they had plenty of iPhones. I drove there and was in line at about 9:30am with about 175 other people and waited and waited and waited. They brought smoothies, water and plenty of smiles as we patiently waited in the HOT sun. It took quite a bit of time to get into the store due to system wide outages so people couldn't get their phone activated! I finally got my phone and got it activated at about 3:30pm.

I have had time to play with it a little and am EXTREMELY satisfied. Well worth the wait, IMO, anyway. Now I can sync all my info on my MacBook Pro to my iPhone! I am at peace!!! :D

But I have had to wait for over a year just to get the iPhone in Canada so have PITY on me:)

There is NO savings on the New iphone according to some news reports...the subscription fee is supposedly more than the older phone...causing any savings to be eaten up by it....
