Only a person wanting a bit of attention would start such a thread. It appears the majority rule that Bro. Epley has numerous posts that state this. Those with few posts and a lot of "those not stating an opinion would worry me a bit".

No one has ever come out and asked me point black to leave. Though I do get the occasional poster who questions why I would even want to stay.

After all, there is little (or nothing) about me that in any way relates to the Apostolic faith. Except for the fact that I once was an adherent.

For a long time I stayed because of the people. There were many here I loved, and who loved me back, and I didn't want to lose touch with them.

In some respects I am in a catch-22. I want people to take me seriously, and yet I am utterly transparent about my views, which prevents that from happening.

Only that people don't. Not that I entirely blame them, as I have been in their shoes.

For example, I don't believe the Bible to be infallible, and necessarily the inspired word of God. So, after stating that, who here is going to take seriously anything I might have to say on a spiritual matter?

However, just because I understand it, doesn't mean it doesn't frustrate me ;)

its really easy just say something like "its wrong to" and then whatever it is someone will get mad. its that easy
