Brother Alvear had sent me some money to pay some bills and I had separated 100 dollars to buy rice, beans, oil and a few veggies...but Monday a young mother with 2 small babies and no husband (he left her) came up to me to tell me she had no butane...so I gave her 40 reais to buy some.

Another mother said her son needed a pair of shoes he was barefoot so I gave her 20 real...
An elderly lady in our church her roof fell in and I gave 20 real in the offering to help her buy material for a new roof.
A pastor needed gas money to go take care of a church and I gave him 20 real.
Another little group was taking up money to help buy some chairs I gave them 10 real.
Our son in the jungle needed money to go to a village for a service I deposited 40 real...
My grocery money was gone! I didn´t say anything to my kids here, they thought sometime today I would go get what we needed but just told them I needed to work in the church office which was true but not the reason I did not go get the things we need...
HOWEVER my telephone rang and it was a message that a friend had put 100 dollars in my account and it was especially to go buy groceries! God gave it back to me for helping His little ones…
Friends be kind to those that need you and God will take care of you.
I was not going to put this on the forum but kept feeling lead to…Let God use you to bless someone…In blessing others YOU will be blessed! I was!

These are the testimonies that make me smile! We try to point out all of the things that God does to our kids so that they can see his gentle mercies! God is great!

America is a blessed land even with all her problems...

That's true,
I am so thankful that God chose for me to be born an American. He gave me opportunities that so few in the world have, and he knocked enough sense in to me to know that I am blessed. There are many things that pass though our hands and home that are only here until they are given to someone who needs it. I am thankful that I have a son who would rather go and minister in Romania for the summer then sit and play playstation, and I have a daughter who takes her Bible to little league games to witness. God is good, and I am thankful that we have the choice to do what is good.

This is what I was looking for in my "Putting feet to faith" thread.

Sister Alvear,

I have in on good terms that the life of faith is truly an adventure with God.

The bible says it is MORE blessed to give, than it is to receive. I want to be MORE blessed!

Everyday for over 40 years has been a miracle for us here on the mission field. God is more than able to more than we can ever imagine.
