I will be in Branson a few days this week.
I love to meet people from AFF and would even buy a drink at Starbucks - if you want to join me at a Lobster Fest it's Dutch!
How about it? Anyone coming to Beginners Bible Quizzing Nationals?

I will be coming some. I do not know what days or time as yet. I have a nephew that will be there, and of course we will be going to visit with my in-laws.

Right. My oldest was on a Jr team last year though she was younger than most. This year she is with the beginners again for her final year.

My girls have no grand expectation that they should or must win.
While the competition is a very real part of it, I think it is all good - including learning how to lose!
Good luck to your team!

I agree, Brother. You can never grow wrong putting the Word in your heart! Our kids have such a great time when they go to any competitions. I'm sure they'll have stories to tell!

Well, my second day here. I have yet to meet any who identified themselves as AFFers.
We have met several "strangers" who came up and wanted to talk about our participation in "ABC's WifeSwap".

Our Missouri II team has won two matches and lost one.
Very likely we will be down for the count tomorrow... with the double elimination rule.
However, I remember the girls losing the first one then winning eight straight in a row to take first at the regional extravaganza...
Things are a little tense here, but we loosened up with a lobster fest and go carts! :)

Indeed it does and has in the past, though I was refering mostly to quizzers and their families in that post.

Well our team went on to win another before losing on a last question to a Texas team (they were probably liberal compromisers:tease)
Total blue and red for our two girls: six medals and six ribbons.
