They had insurance!

Well I finally got my car back and ended up paying over $700 for the rental I had for 29 days.

I figured I would just have to eat that cost since I did not have coverage from my insurance for rentals. So then when I got home today there was a message on my machine from an insurance company about the accident that occurred and a claim number..

I'm assuming the hit and run driver had insurance after all and I am hoping now to be reimbursed for the rental. Praise Jesus!

I must have been sleeping. You got in an accident with a hit and run driver? How did they catch them? Why would someone want to hit and run if they had insurance unless possibly they were intoxicated. I would think the DUI would be less of a penalty than hit and run.
