Hello, all! :thumbsup
I just joined today, after finding a link to this site in a oneness vs. trinitarian discussion somewhere else on the net. I can't even remember where.
I was born and raised Jesus' Name Pentecostal. My Dad pastored several small churches, and my Mom is also a preacher.
I am not called to preach, but I do play bass at church. I learned how playing for my Dad's church when I was 12, almost 30 years ago.
I currently attend First UPC in Heber Springs, my adopted hometown. I was born and raised in the Dallas area.
I was backslid from about age 15 to 30, although I didn't stop attending church until I was 23 or 24.
I have been back in church for over 10 years, although like most, I still battle temptation on a daily basis, and on occasion, stumble, fall, dust myself off, repent, and get back up again.

My family attended Brother Hosch's church for about two years.
My Dad had a burden to start a church in Irving, and was blocked from getting his license with the organization for that and the fact that he had assisted at a church that was not in the organization, so he followed God instead of the fellowship card and started an independent church in Irving.
He pastored churches in Irving, Grand Prairie, West Dallas, and Arcadia Park. I attended all of them.

Wow, that is so great. My husband is from Grand Prairie, and I went to the Lee's church for a while there too. Well sorry your Dad was treated that way, but glad he followed God's call. We lived in Irving shortly before my Mom died.

My Mom and Dad knew Sister Lee very well. And the Kegleys used to go to a church we went to in Carrollton. I went to school for one semester with Kim Kegley.

I think you mean shoveling it out. You don't want to dig into what gets deep around here. It usually stinks and carries germs.

Are the Hoschs' in Texas related to the Hoschs' in Monroe, Michigan?

I don't really know. My family went to Bro Paul Hosch's church in the early 70's. and also knew Bro Nick Hosch. I believe that he was Paul Hosch's nephew.
