I know that NFL training camps have opened today and the College Football shows are starting up on the World Wide Leader. I love this time of year when everybody feels like they have a chance. I really feel good about where the Texans are.

:club:club Hey, mark my words. Things were really rolling at the end of last season. We have been hit harder by injuries than almost any other team, but we do have good players and a great coach.

I'm serious. If you look at the injury report, no other team is as hard hit. Our primary receiver, starting quarterback, and feature running back were lost for most of the year, and we still won our last 4 home games. They look really good as far as health and with the additions. It seemed like they picked up Kubiak's offense a bit towards the end, and the defensive line looks strong.

The AFC South is the toughest division in the NFL this year. Last year, three out of four teams made the playoffs, with the Texans the odd man out.

I think it will be three teams again this year from the AFC South. Once again, it will be the Texans on the outside looking in! :D

Okay, just watch. I'll be here all season. I do really think that they are going to surprise a lot of people. They were 8-8 last year in a tough division, with all of the key injuries and learning a new system and not having a real running back.

I'm not a Texan fan, but I am a big fan of Kubiak. I wish the Broncos had let Shanahan go and hired Kubiak.
I also think they may surprise some people.

I do not watch Pro Football, but love College Football. My husband and I begin watching it on Thursday night and watch whatever game is on until Sat. night. We were just talking today that we are ready for football season to start. Of course I am partial to the LSU tigers- Last year's NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!

Wyo, I can't wait until the season starts. I know that it could just be the blind allegiance inherent with being a football team's fan, but I really think the Texans can shock people. Then I'll be hunting down PianoMan and Amazing Grace :)

I know it's just pre-season, but the Titans demolished the Rams last night! Mark it down, RB Chris Johnson wins the offensive Rookie of the Year award!

The Texans will be better, but so will the Titans. :bliss

Maybe! :) I'll say that VY will have 3 times as many 10 yard runs against the Texans as sacks!

I'll also say that Chris Johnson will bust loose for a 50+ yard TD against the Texans!

I think the Colts and Jaguars are over-rated this year, and the Texans and Titans will end up at the top of the AFC South!

I still say that the Texans can surprise a lot of people...if they actually stay healthy this year. They should just let Ahman Green go now though. He has been hurt for the last three years now, and in the first preseason game he got hurt on his first carry and nobody even hit him. :crazy

The AFC South is without a doubt the toughest division in the NFL this year! I think the Texas may make the playoffs for the first time.

As much as it pains me to say...lets not forget the Jets...
We all know who the new QB is!

I think that has the makings of disaster all over it. We may see the Farve that we saw in '05 and '06. I think the Packs will be significantly better than the Jets.
