For several months I've been one of those pesky lurkers, laughing at some of the topics, getting a little bit miffed at others, but most of the time enjoying the different views expressed here. So many times I would hit the register now and then change my mind. I even tried to think of a real catchy "name" to post under but I'm not very creative so, I'm just here as myself, Dayna Jones.

When I saw the thread regarding the death of our son Justin, I had to join and tell all of the AFF Family, thank you for your prayers through this horrible nightmare that we've been in. The tragic passing of Justin would have been bad enough but then hurricane Ike came through and the viewing and funeral service had to be postponed due to the power loss and the damage in the Houston/Humble area.

Please keep our beautiful daughter in-law Misti, in your prayers. Justin also leaves behind a gorgeous little 9 month old daughter, Madison Joy. Right now we are all leaning on the prayers of our extended Family of God.

For those of you who knew Justin, you knew that he did not enjoy the ordinary and as his dad said at Justin and Misti's wedding, "Justin, you don't march to a different drummer, you march to the beat your own drum". His passion for life, his deep love for Misti and Madison and his desire to witness to everyone he came in contact with will be missed and there will forever be a void in our lives but his passing renews our faith that we will see him again and in my opinion, the sooner the better!

Thank you for allowing me to share just a tiny bit of my heart with you, my new AFF family!

Sis. Jones,

Thank you so much for posting this. I did not know your son, but I am a TBC alumnus, also, and got the message on EveryonesApostolic. We were in prayer for the family, even though we did not know you folks.

Please know that we are still praying for your family thru this very difficult time, and welcome to AFF. Hopefully, we can be a source of comfort to you far more than we are a source of consternation!

Sis. Jones,
My prayers are with you and your family. I still remember your family from when you moved from Austin to San Jose for a short time years ago. May God hold you in his loving arms during this difficult time.

Sister Dayna, please know that our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you during this horribly difficult time. We pray for the supernatural peace of God be with you and Bro. Jimmy. We have not been in contact with you for years, we attended Stonewall with Bro. Williams and Bro Layne and then attended Mt Houston where our daughter was born. We've stayed in contact with the Jones Family. We are now pastoring a church in Indiana. Again know that our prayers are with you.

Just saw this.

As a resident Southern California, I can say that Sis. Jones is one of the most precious ladies you will ever meet. The Jones' were awesome people here in San Diego County. Our church was heartbroken at the news of the loss of Justin, as he spent a lot of time at our church and is around my age.

God bless you Sis. Jones....and at least I can "see" your smile behind your posts!
