prayer has a divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and His work. Lately we have had tremendous results through prayer.People have been healed including myself. A boy in our church that suffered a serious heart problem has been declared whole. One of our church children was in a village where bandits were shooting and even her mother got shot (not a christian) but the little girl was not hurt at all. On and on I could tell you things how God is moving. The other night bandits tryed to block the road when Brother Alvear and a group were coming home from a village church and God helped them get through the road block...so many things...

Two new souls came to the Lord last week. One of them we had been praying for quite a long time...
We have a group of brothers that are putting in the floor of a new church we are building.. We have stoped the construction for a while but was able to start back up.

I am telling you these things to help build your faith also. Something happened yesterday...a pastor called me and wanted to know about something. I said I have a signed paper concerning this...NEVER do I keep up with things...something from 2004 or 05 and I had run across it the other day...I probably would have still been looking had not God kept it with my Bible studies and someone asked me for a certain Bible study the other night and that paper was mixed in with them...I cannot imagine how it even got there!
The paper proved totally opposite from what the person was telling and it is signed by them!
Strange how God works...

A sister in our church had been praying for her daughter in law to start coming to ladies meetings as we have good teachings and out of the blue sky she walked up and said last week to her mother in law and said I feel I should start coming to the ladies meetings...the girl has not been in church long but came from a very catholic background and recieves pressure to return to her old life from her mother...thank God for a mother in law that has help on praying...the girl was at ladies meeting last night all smiles..

The Serenity Prayer goes like this -- ( I like this prayer)
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next. Amen.
