You can have a false negative, but not a false positive. The test is just reading hormone levels. They can be to low to get a positive result. If you have high levels you have a baby.

She could wait a couple of days and see if that makes a difference, but usually they are correct the first time around.:aaa

I've always heard that if it is positive, it is accurate. The hormone to cause it to be that... is only present w/pregancy.

Ron, I'm sure you are stunned right now. But it'll be ok. Just give this some time to sink in.

I had a pastor once who loved to say to us, "God never misplaces a child."
I don't know that I agree - well, maybe GOD didn't misplace a child, but some certainly end up with parents that should not be called that. But in your case, I'm thinking that if God gives you this child, there is a reason. He has plans that we don't know or understand at this point in time :)

I hear you, Ron, and I understand your concerns. Is your wife in good health? I'm not a doctor, but I would think that if she's healthy otherwise, and with good medical care, she should be fine carrying this child.
