Without HeavenlyOne here in WI, I'm not sure how to handle Peanut Brittle orders this year. Due to my hours, I can't handle the shipping. However, I suspect if theres enough interest, I can draft someone at church to do the mailing.

We start making brittle this Saturday and will be making it until almost Christmas.

First of all, I'd like to know how much interest there is before I begin "drafting". :)

If interested, please let me know and give me an idea of how many patties you would like.

After that, I'll see what I can do.

What exactly makes it a dumb thread? I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all. If you don't want peanut brittle, just don't open this thread. How hard is that?

I will be in WI on Nov 20th and coming back home on Dec 1st. I will bring no less than 100 patties with me. I have one order already (although she doesn't know it, but I owe her from last year), so if I get enough interest, I will pick up more and ship them from here.

PM me if you are interested. Let me know how many you want and I'll give you a price that includes shipping. I cannot guarantee whole patties, but WalMart doesn't even sell them whole! LOL!

I need to know...Do you clip your nails and wear hair nets??? Do you taste test each patties?????

They found out that people didn't like them as well when they clipped their nails, wore hair nets, or even washed their hands, so they quit doing that.

And only the snot-nosed kids are allowed to taste test the patties.

Ewwwwww! Our crew leaders would die if they read this! Especially Karen! Shes absolutely anal about hairnets, NO KIDS under 16 and no nibbling while making/handling the brittle. She even gets after the pastor for nibbling! Hes sneaky about it. LOL!

Don't tell Karen I said that!! LOL! Perhaps I should be there when they are making it. The pastor stays away when I'm there! LOL!

We just got through making 100 patties of plain peanut brittle and 60 patties of Jalapino Peanut brittle tonight...
