That's Reggie peaking around! And T Covey!! Tony Copple looks exactly the same, only with gray hair now. I recently saw a picture of Terry & Pam Erwin on their church website too. Back when we were having the JCM reunion, I looked up several old friends on their websites - very interesting!!

Nope, it ain't Mark Roberts.

And my memory ain't so good anymore.

That guy standing with his back to the camera was from Illinois ... he was a freshman that year in 1976-77 ... preachers' kid ... first name Tim.

But I can't think of his last name. Terry Erwin would know.

Eddie Cupples may remember.

God, I thought I was the cat's meow with a wide collar colored shirt and a denim jacket.

I did appreciate that Renda actually cooked a home cooked meal when a lot of other guys got McDonalds.

Yep. Mickey D's was a staple even back in 1976.

I assume you guys saw Regi Nevitt back there.

I don't remember reading if anyone mentioned him.

Not Sharonda Mire ... Sharonica. Hulon Mire's daughter.

Is that her over by those humongous breaker boxes?

I forgot all about those.

Carbonated drinks on the table. Guy on left wearing a wrist watch. Guy on left (or is it the girl ?) has a red purse (RED mind you!) Mens hair a little less "Apostolic" than it should be. Is that the hint of a nekkid elbow way in the back? And, girls and boys sitting together!!!! See, "standards" were going out the window way back when these colored cave drawings were done. Oh, Renda, you're left handed? Everyone knows leftys are full of the debil. Rev. Larson, come quick!

Oh, yeah, girly shirts.

Now those two guys at the front of the table were the height of masculinity way back then.

Uh ... that's a pretty big accomplishment at JCM.

And hey, those shirts were the height of fashion in 1976 for the big time UPC preacher not in the pulpit.

But yeah, wearing those shirts today they'd think we just came from the nearest gay rights rally. :ursofunny

Yeah, I remember those fashions (and I use that word loosely). The shirts, the leisure suits. I finally got one of those leisure suits. Got the shirt with the wide collars. Trouble was, by the time I got them- they were outta style. Remember the bell bottomed pants with the cuffs? Remember the wide ties with a knot so big it looked like you had a soft ball ball under your chin? Alhhh... the good old days. May they go down in history, never, ever to return!

I believe I was at that service.

That would have been a chorale tour stop at Eastwood in Lake Charles just a few weeks after Renda, Pam and me graduated.

Sharon was there because she and David were Murrell Ewing's ministers of music at the time.

The next school year, 1978-1979, Patt Jett and Phyllis Newlin would be returning juniors and Joy Cole and Kathy Braddy would be returning seniors.
