Letter from Mark Condon (excerpted)

Dear friends and fellow worshippers,

The one thing I know without hesistation is what I am called to do - I have been called to "wrap worship around the world". I also know that absolutely everyone needs an encounter with God!

Deleted info

It is time for us to take the next step to "wrap worship around the world". We will use the internet and television to expand our ministry into a 30 minute praise and worship program that will air weekly on nationwide television. This program will reach into 40 million American homes, 75 million African homes, to one million of our armed service men and women, and to over 165 different countries. We have assembled a stellar team from sound engineers, lighting tech's, musicians and worship leaders from many diverse denominations, cultures and backgrounds from the Columbus, Ohio area that will come together one Friday evening per month for a powerful evening of explosive worship.

Deleted info

We will tape our pilot show "ENCOUNTER Worship" on Friday evening June 15, 2007.

Where are they taping it at? (which facility, studio, or church)
Which network is going to carry it? (TBN, INspirational, etc)
Does MC hold license with the UPC or is he strictly a minister through music and does not preach?
Is he the principle in the show or is he one among equals of other singers / praise and worship leaders from other denominations?

That is the cool thing about singers/musicians; no-license means no control from the org.

Sounds like it will be a quality program.

Like CC1, I'm wondering what network will be carrying it!

I heard about this last week. I have not heard where it is being taped or where it is going to be aired.

Mark Condon holds no license with the UPC. He just sings.

From what I understand, he will be more host than anything and it will feature guests. Think Awakening, but more about the guests then Mark Condon.
