It has to work! Did you download the software package that came with the camera?

Do you have the software package brought up and on the screen? Did you turn on the camera and plug it in to the device?

Ha, it plugs into the front of my computer thingy. Got it installed and uploaded a pic of my Christmas tree!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I did. And it's pink. So girly girl. And I got a calendar with my grandbabies on it. And lots of pics of the grandbabies. My favorite thing.

You shouldn't need software to retrieve photos. Just plug in your device, open Windows Explorer, and you should be able to click on the drive, just like you would the C drive, storage device or a DVD drive.
Then you just select your photos and either Copy and paste to a new folder, then delete them from your camera, or if you're sure you know what you're doing, Cut and paste to your pictures folder.
