Look At This Definition of the Trinity. What say u

ABOUT TRINITY
The egg is comprised of three parts: The yellow yolk, the whitish part, and the shell. Despite these three (3) substances, the egg is not three but one. Likewise, we believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost are one God, but made of three persons - hence they are ONE IN TRINITY - Gen. 1:16-29; Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 18:19.

Bad analogy. Here is why. The egg is incomplete.

Is the egg as a whole what its supposed to be ? No. The point of the egg is the chicken. The chicken is one. The egg contains different parts that do not become the one chicken. The shell has no part of the chicken. Niether does the white. Therefore they are three individual things that never become nor are even integrated into the ONE chicken.

I'd be embarrased to if I were a trinitarian.

The yolk is NOT "the egg". The White part is not "The egg" and the shell is not "The egg"...they are each only 1 third of the egg and it takes all three together to form an egg...

Taken logically that would make each person NOT "The God". That would make them only parts, like a puzzle...that only when put together equal a whole God

I have seen or heard this analogy, but from an apple. The skin, the flesh, and the core (seeds). And all three are one.

I am not a fan of these discriptions of God. First you have to crack the shell of an egg to get to the rest of it. Then once cracked you can not put it back together the way it was.
The water one is no better. Ice, liquid, and steam all three made up of H2O but yet different and still they come back to the same thing. The thing with this one is that it takes different things to create the different effects. You need below freezing temps to get the water to freeze into ice and you need boiling temps to get the water to the point it turns to steam. At least the temps need to be hot enought he water will start to evaporate.

I just don't think they discribe God well enough.

I don't think we are capable of discribing God fully. "God is a spirit and they who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth". I've never seen a spirit, holy or unholy. I've expererienced the spirit of God in my life. But I've never physically seen him. And neither has anyone else I know.

I gave up long ago trying to tell you what I think God will look like when we arrive in Heaven. Or trying to figure out how God works. God is so far above me that for me to try to explain Him as if I know everything about Him is ridiculous.

Maybe God gave us things like apples and eggs in order to give us a small glimpse His fullness? I don't know. I really don't. But then again, I don't guess I need to. I know that He loves me. I know that Jesus died for me. And I know that He rose again.

I feel like the blind child who has never seen his parents faces. He knows they love him. He knows they will always take care of him. He never doubts that they want what is best for him. They've seen him. But he's never seen them. But he loves them back.
