Is the local church a replication of the Tower of Babel - man's puny attempt to get to God?

The local Church if it fits the definition of "Church" is the greatest blessing a believer can experience this side of Heaven.

15: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Tim. 3:15

Well, since the church was establsihed ny Jesus Christ, and since the Apostles participated in local churches, i wouldn't think so.

Trying to find a way to bypass God's way, which is the church led by the five fold ministry, would actually be comparable to the Tower of Babel.

This "Lone Rnger for Jesus" stuff is an attempt, and a puny one, to get to God another way.
